About the Role​

The SDE-I is an entry-level engineering position for developers beginning their professional career. SDE-Is work on well-defined tasks, contribute to feature development, and build expertise in the team's tech stack while receiving guidance from senior engineers.

Responsibilities​

  • Develop and maintain features for assigned product areas
  • Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
  • Fix bugs and improve application performance
  • Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback
  • Collaborate with team members on technical solutions
  • Learn and follow established coding standards and best practices

Requirements​

  • 0-2 years of experience in software development
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language
  • Understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Familiarity with version control (Git)
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills

Nice to Have​

  • Experience with our tech stack (React, Node.js, iOS/Android)
  • Exposure to databases (SQL/NoSQL)
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks
